Gene Harrington Winter Classic

The Gene Harrington Tournaments are considered some of the most prestigious Hockey Tournaments in North American. They represent an unique opportunity for teams from Canada and the US to meet in Niagara Falls, NY to compete in a Canada vs. USA atmosphere where each division is designed to provide equitable play.
The tournaments started back in the early Seventies, and have grown considerable over the years. Their popularity in both the US and Canada makes our 3 day events some of the most popular International Hockey Tournaments in North America. Last year we hosted 450 teams from Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY, NJ, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Michigan, Illinois, Rhode Island, Washington DC, Maryland, Maine, Mexico, and Ontario, Canada. The diversified field of teams combined with a 2 goal average game differential created an incredible level of excitement, and delivered a memorable event for all that attended.

THE CUP gives an opportunity for the top AA teams from Canada and the USA to meet in one place and go head to head with the best North America has to offer!
The Cup North American Championship
January 17th-January 19th 2020
THE CUP North American Championship was designed to attract the top teams from across North America and is by invitation only. Teams must finish ranked in the top 20 final myhockeyrankings.com from the US or Canada from the previous year’s final results to be considered unless otherwise deemed worthy by the tournament selection committee. THE CUP North American Championship gives an opportunity for the top AAA teams from Canada and the US to meet in one place to play teams they would not normally face during their season.
